The merger had a very specific goal: to increase our purchasing power in order to have a better inventory for our joint customers and expand our delivery territory.

We operate as two separate entities. Some procedures have been standardized to ensure that both companies operate in the same way, while leaving Acier Ménard a certain latitude.

2019

Acier Ménard joins the Acier Simmonds family

The name Acier Ménard has been part of the metal distribution culture in the Montérégie region for many years. It is strategically located near Highway 10 on a plot of land that allows for future growth and equipped with a 65,000 square feet warehouse. Formerly known as Acier A. Ménard et Fils, the company was acquired by Acier Simmonds in 2019.
